Marteye is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Marteye, an online auction marketplace for livestock and machinery, was founded to make marts accessible to the agricultural community, especially during challenging times. This commitment to accessibility extends to our online platform, which is available on iOS, Android, and web browsers. We believe in providing a simple and secure experience for all farmers and participants in online auctions.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

Marteye is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to improve the accessibility of our platform.

Accessibility Features

We are working to implement a range of features to make our platform more accessible, including:

  • Alternative text for images: We are working to ensure that all images on our platform have descriptive alternative text to assist users who use screen readers.

  • Video captions: For pre-recorded video content, we are working towards providing captions. For live auctions, we are exploring solutions to enhance accessibility.
